Does your company just manage the social media pages, or do you also create the content for the pages?
1
We do both! We create content sourced from your homilies/sermons, mission statements, impact data, and program stories. We also use relevant and seasonal scripture coupled with appropriate stock footage from our company’s image library to create content that will support Church ministry in general. For Catholic Schools and other faith-based nonprofits, we source industry data such as the USCCB website, to provide additional content to support your ministry. We are very creative, and we love to build beautiful content for churches and faith-based ministries.
What happens if our Church does not have a Facebook and/or Instagram page?
2
We will create a new page with you! The $100 set-up fee enables us to schedule a 30-60 minute Zoom call with a Church staff member, at which time we will create social pages with the staff member as the account “owner” and Creative Church Communications as the “administrator”.
What platforms do you provide content for?
3
The “Social Media Starter” package provides content marketing on Facebook and Instagram only. If your organization is interested in building a YouTube Channel or LinkedIn account, we can also help you with that for an additional fee.
Who is responsible for engaging with questions and comments on the social media platforms?
Can you help us with online giving?
Will you help us get set-up with an Email system for a newsletter?
4
We already email our community sometimes and we have the bulletin posted on our Website each week, why do we need an email Newsletter?
Can you help us with our website?
Yes! If your Church does not have an Email Service Provider, we will help you select one and set-up the account. The ESP set-up is included in the $200 fee for the “Comprehensive Communications” package. We recommend that Churches and faith-based nonprofits use either Constant Contact or Mailchimp, because both of these Email service providers offer a not-for-profit discount.
We handle some of that, and the church staff member “owner” of the accounts are also able to comment and respond. The “Social Media Starter” package included light engagement, which means will with engage with your followers; “like” comments; and respond to simple DM communication from followers. We will alert the staff to any messages or comments that seem to require pastoral attention. Please note: “light engagement” means a few check-ins through out the week. We do not engage or check accounts daily.
Your current setup keeps the lights on, but it's reactive, not relational. "Sometimes emailing" hits inboxes sporadically , which leads to low open-rates and forgotten messages. Paper bulletins only reach people who physically attend church. Posting a static PDF of the weekly bulletin means it is buried on-site and 90% ignored.
An optimized email newsletter changes everything:
Weekly rhythm: Auto-delivers value (events, devotionals, wins) straight to parishioners’ phones. The average open-rate for nonprofits is 28%, so your community will be updated, even if they do not attend Church.
Mobile-first can convert scrollers to attenders. When your bulletin lives in parishioners’ inbox on a weekly basis, Church becomes more top-of-mind, leading to improved attendance.
Yes! We can help you get connected with DonorPerfect , an online giving and fundraising solution for Churches and nonprofits. If you work with that company, most of their packages come with a subscription to the Constant Contact email service provider.
Yes! We can create and manage a website based on the SquareSpace platform for an extra one-time website building fee and an extra on-going service fee. We may also be able to manage a site that has already been created with the e-Catholic platform. All website design and management packages are custom created.
